Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is a common problem affecting about five to six percent of children. Many remain undiagnosed and find it difficult to establish relationships with their peer group. As a result they may feel isolation and alienation as well as anxiety.
People with ADHD tend to be more impulsive and likely to have behavior problems, both of which can contribute to drug and alcohol abuse, researchers say.
So after some time from using such addictive substances they will have new learned behavior which will positively reinforce using of such substances after some time they will develop tolerance to this material where they have to increase the dose to get the same response and they discover that they are unable to stop this substance, because when they hold the dose, they are complaining of withdrawal symptoms which force them to use it again. This is a common scenario which may happen for ADHD people and this necessitate treatment and anxiety as well as other rehabilitative measurements.
